What if a soul entered the wrong body at birth?
The probability of entering the wrong body at birth is slim. There is a process to a spirit (soul) choosing a lifetime and then preparing for it and attaching to it at birth. It is not a matter of chance. An important aspect is that a guardian spirit would have been assigned prior to birth, and they would monitor the transition. Also, there must be an agreement between the incoming soul and the parent to be.
The above safeguards are hardly needed as there is already a connection between a spirit and the life they have chosen prior to birth. Attaching to the right body does not require that they physically find that newborn and zero in on it. Another factor is that a spirit will initially attach to the body with only a small part of their energy, so they would also be aware of an error should it occur (highly unlikely), and correct it. The incoming soul will later attach with their full energy between about the ages of two and four when the child has a greater capacity to reason and make informed choices. Before 2 years of age, the soul will visit randomly to check on the development and connection between the brain and all the nerve plexuses.
With everything there is always an exception; this is when the departing soul with intense free will decided to NOT go through the proper channels of in-between life and afterlife process, where cleansing and purification and healing and complete detachment did not take place. He/she became earth bound and hangs around the target and forces entry to be the descendent. This is a grave spiritual error. In this case the soul/individual usually will experience a short lifespan as not much resources has been granted.
